Anestesia Regional

By using a regional anesthesia, which for foot and ankle surgery is generally administered behind knee, pain can often be minimized or eliminated for two to three days after surgery as well. This type of anesthesia can better control post-surgery discomfort and reduce side effects associated with traditional pain medications such as nausea, constipation and sleepiness.
