Junta Asesora de Adolescentes

A group of teen patients functioning as an advisory board, a support group and a fundraising platform for McLane Children's

The mission of the Teen Advisory Board is to assure that our patients are receiving the highest quality care by representing real teen patient experiences. Our teens meet once a month to share ideas, discuss hospital needs, and provide support for each other.

Our teens host a variety of fundraisers and have raised money for multiple pieces of hospital equipment and sensory equipment for our patients. The teens have given their valuable creativity and input in decisions such as creating our patient "call don't fall" bracelets and what should be painted on our hospital walls.
