ANCC Magnet Designation
In 2010, Hospital Baylor Scott & White The Heart - Plano achieved its first ANCC Magnet Designation®, a national designation for nursing excellence awarded to very few hospitals by the American Nursing Credentialing Center. In 2016 and 2020, we received our second and third designations.
ANCC has established the standards of practice that have proven to deliver optimal outcomes for patient care and the nurse work environment.
