That’s why we have implemented the DAISY and Sunshine Awards.
The Lakeway DAISY and Sunshine Awards
The DAISY Award is an international program that rewards and celebrates the extraordinary clinical skill and compassionate care given by nurses every day at Baylor Scott & White – Lakeway.
Each quarter we celebrate a nurse at Lakeway who exemplifies outstanding clinical care and compassion. Our DAISY Award Honorees are celebrated at a ceremony and receive a certificate, DAISY Award pin and a hand-carved stone sculpture entitled A Healer's Touch. The Honoree’s entire unit in Lakeway will also celebrate with Cinnabon® cinnamon rolls.
The Sunshine Award is available to non-nursing employees at Baylor Scott & White – Lakeway who demonstrate compassion and dedication, and go above and beyond while serving patients. The Sunshine Award helps recognize these individuals as role models.
