Research has shown that pursuing joy is vital to our well-being—as well as our performance at work.
Expressing thanks has been shown to improve your mood and help increase optimism. People who regularly express gratitude for the positive aspects of life are shown to be happier overall, leading to lower rates of stress and depression. Take a few moments to reflect with an attitude of gratitude.
At one time or another, we all need time away from work. Whether it is to ensure you take a break and recharge, or for a serious reason, we support your well-being. There is no substitute for taking time away from work to rest, recharge and do something that brings you joy.
When the very individuals delivering care become the ones in need of support, trained colleagues are here for support. Trained colleagues—who may have experienced a similar situation and are trained in active listening and psychological first aid to walk alongside you with complete confidentiality.
