Carmalita began her career as a Registered Dietitian at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL. There she covered ICU, CVICU, and adult acute LTC. She was offered the opportunity to join
...
the Alabama Dept of Public Health WIC. She was privileged to work with WIC for 12 years on both the county and state levels. After a move to Texas, she worked for Medical City Arlington where she covered NICU, Women's Hospital, HVC, and oncology for a short time. Currently, Carmalita is working at Baylor All Saints in both inpatient and outpatient care.
