Our spiritual care program

We not only support your physical health but also provide care and healing for your heart, mind and soul. With a team of chaplains and numerous resources, Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth offers spiritual care, emotional support and comfort to patients, families and caregivers.

From loss and uncertainty to moments of healing and hope, we offer:

  • Interfaith care and cultural inclusivity to support people from all beliefs and backgrounds
  • Comfort as you navigate emotions, including grief, fear or worry
  • Prayers, blessings, religious resources and spiritual rituals
  • A listening ear and caring presence
  • Trauma-informed support
  • Guidance through difficult choices, including Directivas avanzadas

We’ll be by your side as you navigate your path forward. Chaplains are available during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, by calling 817.927.6150. We also have on-call services for emergent concerns after hours and on weekends. After hours, please ask your nurse to contact the chaplain.

Chapels and reflective spaces

We’ve created spaces on our campus that provide a dedicated place for peace, quiet and reflection, including chapels featuring beautiful stained glass and a healing garden. These spaces are open 24/7 for all patients, families, visitors and team members.

Resources and services to support your faith

With our team, you have access to many resources to support your faith journey and spiritual needs.

Religious services

Religious services are provided by request, either in your room or in one of our chapels, as your health allows. Contact our team at 817.927.6150 or submit an online form to request services such as:

  • Holy Communion
  • Blessings
  • Anointings
  • Memorial services
  • Worship services
  • Celebrations for birthdays or anniversaries

We offer Protestant and Catholic Communion, anointing of the sick, baptism (adult and baby) and Catholic confession. Catholic services are provided in collaboration with the local parish.

Additional resources for infant loss

Located on our campus, Andrews Women’s Hospital offers a special program to care for families experiencing pregnancy or infant loss. Along with support from our chaplains, we provide resources and events such as:
