Roma Bhanu Patel, PA

As a high school student, Roma Patel was introduced to the PA (physician assistant) profession during a job fair, and knew that was the career path she wanted to pursue. Being a PA allows her to work as part of a team toward the goal of providing the best care to patients. She chose a health care profession because she wanted to improve the way people experience medical care and treatment. She is deeply committed to providing the most current, evidence-based medical care while including patients and their families as part of the team so they feel seen, heard, empowered and informed at a difficult time in their life.

Ms. Roma has been an oncology PA for more than 10 years.  Every day, she is inspired by the courage, resilience, bravery, and hope that she witnesses while caring for patients and their families.  She considers herself privileged to be part of each individuals’ journey.  The word "cancer" changes a person's life and the lives of their loved ones irreversibly.   She strives to support them by keeping her practice current and staying up to date with promising advances in cancer research and therapies that allow her patients the ability to live well longer.

Outside work, Ms. Roma enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking dance classes, and going to music events.
