The Comprehensive Wound and Hyperbaric Medicine Center at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Waxahachie is dedicated to preserving the function of the lower extremities and offering advanced wound care for patients with non-healing wounds. 

Our wound center in Waxahachie works with a multidisciplinary team in order to heal complex wounds and preserve limbs. Our advanced treatments can benefit any wound that has not healed in two weeks or has a complex presentation.

An experienced multidisciplinary team, including hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) therapy and wound specialists, podiatric foot, orthopedic, and vascular surgeons, and infectious disease specialists work closely with you and your physician to develop the best approach to your wound healing issue. Some of the treatments we provide in our Comprehensive Wound and Hyperbaric Medicine Center in Waxahachie include:

Medicina hiperbárica

Hyperbaric medicine is the medical use of oxygen at a higher pressure level than our atmosphere to treat a variety of conditions. A typical treatment plan will include 30-40 dives that last roughly 1-2 hours.
