En la región de Baylor Scott & White Health Austin/Round Rock, nuestras enfermeras se dedican a vivir la misión de nuestra organización de brindar una atención excelente a la comunidad a la que servimos. Las enfermeras atienden a nuestros pacientes en una variedad de entornos, tanto hospitalarios como ambulatorios. Prestamos servicios en una amplia área geográfica, desde Georgetown al sur hasta San Marcos y desde Taylor al oeste hasta Lakeway.

The Austin/Round Rock region is on the ANCC Magnet Journey to Excellence. The following are some of the ways our nurses exemplify our commitment to consistent, compassionate, and excellent care.

  • Nursing collaborated with a successful interdisciplinary opening of our newest inpatient/clinic facility—Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Pflugerville, including a successful Joint Commission survey.
  • Successful Joint Commission survey at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Taylor. As the region’s Critical Access hospital, Taylor ED saw and excess of 10,000 patients in FY 19, demonstrating an ongoing need for healthcare in this rural section of our region.
  • Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Round Rock achieved Level 1 Neonatal status by TX Dept. of Health Services, providing the Round Rock area with a higher level of neonatal/newborn care.

  • Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Round Rock and Lakeway achieved 2018 Target Stroke Honor Roll Elite Plus for the collaborative care delivered to stroke patients. Lakeway also achieved the 2019 “Get with Guidelines, Gold Plus” level for stroke care.
  • Mobility Project conducted at Baylor Scott & White – Round Rock resulted in overall decreased fall rate.
