Laurie M. Reddy, MOT, OTR, CHT, is an occupational therapist and certified hand therapist licensed in the state of Texas. She works primarily with Matthew Nevitt, MD; Jennifer Chu, MD; and Phillip Hansen, MD. She has a particular interest in disorders of the hand, wrist and elbow. Laurie evaluates and treats children and adults using splints/orthoses, manual therapy, therapeutic activities and exercises for decreased range of motion resulting from injuries, including fractures, arthritis and tendon lacerations. Edema, scar adhesions and nerve injuries are other diagnoses that are treated with therapy. She is also interested in teaching future generations of occupational therapists, research and patient education. Outside of work, Laurie enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and reading.
