As a Neurosurgery Physician Assistant at Baylor Scott & White, Olivia Dexter is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care rooted in listening, support, and open communication. She strives to ensure patients feel comfortable, heard, and confident throughout every stage of their care journey, especially during what can often be overwhelming circumstances.


Olivia specializes in caring for patients with brain and spine conditions in both clinic and hospital settings before and after surgery. Her passion for neuroscience began during her undergraduate studies and ultimately inspired her to pursue a career in neurosurgery, where she values the opportunity to provide reassurance, support, and calm during some of life’s most challenging moments.

What Olivia finds most rewarding about patient care is building meaningful relationships and supporting patients throughout their journey—from navigating difficult diagnoses and preparing for surgery to celebrating progress and recovery along the way.
