Amanda West, MD

Amanda West, MD is an OB/GYN with BSW Women’s Health Group, where she is dedicated to helping women navigate every stage of life with personalized, compassionate care. She believes in partnering with patients to understand their unique health goals and providing evidence-based treatment options that support lifelong wellness.


Dr. West cares for adolescents, adults and older women, with clinical interests that include pregnancy and postpartum care, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, uterine fibroids and abnormal uterine bleeding. She offers a full range of treatment options, including lifestyle modifications, medication-based therapies, hormone replacement therapy and surgical care tailored to each patient's individual needs.

In addition to routine gynecologic and obstetric care, Dr. West performs robotic-assisted surgery and other minimally invasive surgical procedures, allowing many patients to benefit from advanced treatment options and shorter recovery times. She is committed to helping women make informed decisions about their health through education, open communication and personalized care plans.

Dr. West earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio and completed her internship and residency training at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.

Outside of work, Dr. West enjoys traveling, playing pickleball, trying new restaurants and spending time with family at the lake.
