As one who has an abnormal fear of even the anticipation of pain, she was able to calm me and talk me thru a procedure without using a numbing agent. That's an extremely rare feat for me. She was very thorough, she spent a substantial amount of time with me, she took a substantial amount of time reading thru my chart to become familiar with my medical hx and me, as a person. She even made it appoint to make sure she saw me as I walked out for additional observation related to other chronic issues and documented her findings in the after visit summary. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Dougher to a friend or a family member. Although her clinic is out of town from where I live, I wouldn't have a problem making a long distance trip to see her for any followup visits. | |
