I have anxiety and a lot to work on in terms of living a healthy lifestyle, and I know I can be honest with Dr. Holland so we can make the best health care decisions together. She makes me feel listened to and relaxed. I have completed my check-ups and issue-related visits more regularly since being in her care. Dr. Holland educates me on my health and addresses anxieties I express surrounding choices such as birth control options and mental health. Due to anxiety, I did not undergo a well-woman exam until I was 27. Dr.Holland made me feel safe, explained the process before and during the exam, and announced any physical touch that would occur. I would highly recommend Dr. Holland to anyone who has ever delayed an appointment due to fear of shame or general health care anxiety.
