Maryann pham tran, md

Dr. MaryAnn Tran is a board-certified physician, specializing in infectious diseases. Her professional interests include general and complex infectious diseases, human immunodeficiency virus management and prevention, bloodstream infections and bone and joint infections.

Dr. Tran is passionate about caring for her adult patients, as well as leading hospital antibiotic stewardship programs and providing expertise in infection prevention.


She is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America. Dr. Tran is proud to have received the Outstanding Teaching Award - Internal Medicine Subspecialty Faculty of the Year in 2018.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and traveling. As an alumnus of Michigan State University, Dr. Tran is an avid fan of the Spartans football and basketball teams.

Dr. Tran has been recognized as a Top Doc 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 by Austin Monthly Magazine. Winners are nominated by their peers as among the best in their region/nation in their medical specialty.
