Mirka Hernandez, D.O.

Dr. Mirka Hernandez is a board-certified internal medicine physician providing comprehensive adult care with a focus on preventive and lifestyle medicine. She partners with patients to manage chronic conditions through education, evidence-based treatment, and sustainable lifestyle changes, with the goal of improving quality of life and preventing disease progression.


Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Hernandez values clear communication and long-term relationships with her patients. She believes in a collaborative, whole-person approach to care, empowering individuals to take an active role in their health.

Dr. Hernandez earned her medical degree from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Colorado and completed her internal medicine residency at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine - Scott & White in Round Rock, Texas. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Hernandez enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, exercising, reading, and traveling.
