He and his office worked to find an osteoporosis med that my insurance would pay for, goi g through 2 options before finding one that was the highest rated and the most effective for spinal osteoporosis and that my insurance would pay for. My diabetic husband has improved markedly over the last few years in Dr Amataya's care. He changed my husband's diabetic medicine from one that made it difficult for him to lose weight, to one that has allowed him to lose 40 pounds and bring his A1C to in the 5.0 range, basically lower than diabetic range. He listens well, is friendly and compassionate. His staff is outstanding also.
