Dr. Robert William Stewart

Dr. Robert Stewart is a fellowship-trained Pulmonology and Critical Care Physician at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Hillcrest, where he also serves as Vice Chief of the Medical Staff, and Medical Director of Quality. 
 
He received his Medical Degree at the American University of the Caribbean in Sint Maarten, N.A. with clinical clerkships in New York, NY. Dr. Stewart then completed a residency in Primary Care Internal Medicine at the University of Connecticut followed by a Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine through Texas A&M at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX. 
 
Dr. Stewart has an active interest in coaching and training others and serves as Faculty for the Academy of Communication in Healthcare, which focuses on promoting patient experience and better healthcare outcomes by developing and enhancing provider communication skills. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine with Baylor College of Medicine and is certified by the American College of Chest Physicians and a member of the American Thoracic Society and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
