Dra. Sarah Stringfield

Dr. Stringfield is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Texas A&M College of Medicine at Texas A&M Health Science Center, Dallas. She specializes in inflammatory bowel disease and colon and rectal cancer. She has an interest in robotic and laparoscopic surgery. She treats benign colon and rectal diseases such as diverticulitis. Dr. Stringfield also manages anorectic disorders, including fistulas, fissures, hemorrhoid disease and fecal incontinence. She has an interest in advances endoscopy. Her academic interests include treatment and outcomes of inflammatory bowel disease. She also has an interest in enhanced recovery after surgery programs targeted at minimizing opioid use and decreasing recovery time after surgery.

Dr. Stringfield loves traveling both locally and internationally. She enjoys cooking and also trying new restaurants and types of food. She spends her free time with her husband and children and enjoys being outdoors.
