Dr. Simran Sedani

Dr. Simran Sedani is a board-certified physician specializing in internal medicine, with a subspecialty in hospital medicine. Her professional interests include food as medicine, integrative medicine, functional medicine, Ayurveda, artificial intelligence, clinical informatics, utilization management, health policy and population health, quality and safety and advocacy for physicians, neurodiversity and socially disadvantaged patients.

She believes in the role of food in the prevention of disease, as well as being accountable and involved in the improvement of healthcare delivery. Dr. Sedani is passionate about educating her adult patients on lifestyle changes that can significantly change the course of their health. She works to continually be an advocate for her patients and hopes to positively impact patients and help them live healthier outside of the hospital.


Dr. Sedani is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Society of Hospital Medicine, the Texas Medical Association, the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American College of Physician Advisors, the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family traveling to new countries, learning about other cultures and history. She also likes running, dancing, walking outdoors, water activities and microlearning.
