Cheryl Mathews, Antiguo Testamento

Cheryl works for Baylor Scott and White Health as an Occupational Therapist where she is focused on providing treatment and care for patients by helping them reach their physical and health-related goals. Cheryl has experience in subacute, acute care, and outpatient services and treats patients with upper extremity conditions both conservatively and post-surgically helping them achieve goals relative to activities of daily living and functional mobility. She has experience implementing various treatment interventions from manual therapy to using various physical agent modalities to assist with pain management. Cheryl also fabricates customized upper extremity splints based on each patient’s needs.  

Cheryl earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Stony Brook University in New York and a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Howard University in Washington, DC. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and is American Heart Association BLS and CPR certified. In addition to English, Cheryl speaks Spanish and Malayalam fluently.
