Biografía
I became a therapist because I know how powerful it is to feel truly heard. Growing up, I saw how much a supportive presence can change someone's path, and I wanted to be that for others. Life can be overwhelming, and sometimes we just need someone to help us make sense of it all. My goal is to provide a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported as you work through life’s challenges. Why I Became A Therapist: As a teen I had some kind, caring adults in my life who were not my parents, who helped in talking things through or figuring out what I was doing with my life. These experiences with my mentors made me want to be that for others- a caring, non-judgmental person that others trusted. I want to be someone who you know is there for you and sees the best in you. I have described my own experiences in therapy as “learning to be a person,” and I hope that’s what I can help you to do too. What do I want clients to take away from working with me? I want my clients to feel seen, heard, and understood. I want you to know that someone you trust is on your side. What’s something I wish more people knew about therapy? You don’t have to have something “wrong” with you to be in therapy. Therapy is a supportive space that is just for you and your needs- it is a form of caring for yourself the same way going to the doctor is. I became a therapist because I know how powerful it is to feel truly heard. Growing up, I saw how much a supportive presence can change someone's path, and I wanted to be that for others.
