On one occasion, he concluded that I had a serious heart problem, and while my cardiac appointment was months out, he somehow got me into a cardiologist within an hour. When I was struggling to find a blood pressure medication that worked and did not have bad side effects, he frequently responded to my communications, even late in the day and on weekends. Like my own grandfather, Dr. Feaster has the knowledge of a 21st Century doctor with the heart of a 19th Century MD who made house calls. | |
