Laura Michelle Saldaña, FNP

Laura Saldaña, APRN, FNP, is a certified family nurse practitioner specializing in surgical oncology. Her professional interests include intra-abdominal surgery and hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery.

Laura is passionate about collaborating with surgeons to ensure that her adolescent and adult patients receive great care throughout their recovery and beyond. She believes that every patient deserves excellent medical care, empathy and understanding, and strives to be a calming and reassuring presence for each of them.


With nearly a decade of experience as a surgical circulator nurse, Laura has always felt deeply connected to her patients' journeys, both before and after surgery.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband and their playful Pomeranian, do-it-yourself home renovation projects, cheering on the Texas Tech Red Raiders and traveling.
