Ahmed Kazem, DO

Dr. Ahmed Kazem is an interventional cardiologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease, including complex and high-risk coronary interventions. He provides comprehensive cardiovascular care for conditions such as chest pain, heart disease, heart failure, peripheral artery disease, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.


Dr. Kazem is committed to delivering patient-centered care through open communication, shared decision-making and personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals. He combines advanced expertise in coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), intravascular imaging and physiologic coronary assessment with a focus on helping patients improve their heart health and quality of life.

Board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Dr. Kazem also has extensive training in advanced imaging and holds a certification from the National Board of Echocardiography. Dr. Kazem completed his cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at Baylor Scott & White – The Heart Hospital Plano. He has authored peer-reviewed publications and presented research at leading national and international cardiology conferences.

When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Kazem enjoys playing soccer, exercising, traveling and spending time with his wife, daughter and family. He speaks English and Arabic.
