Biografía

Dr. Ashley Liou is a board-certified physician specializing in pulmonary and critical care. Her professional interests include post-intensive care and acute respiratory distress syndromes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, sepsis and asthma.


She works to building relationships with her patients and their families while helping them navigate critical care decisions. She is committed to delivering compassionate care, empathetic support and clear communication.

Dr. Liou performs diagnostic procedures – such as bronchial washing, transbronchial biopsies and endobronchial ultrasound biopsies for diagnosis of lung pathologies – to help choose the best treatment plan for her patients.

She is a proud member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Thoracic Society, the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the Texas Medical Association.

Outside of work, Dr. Liou enjoys spending time with family, including her spouse and rescue dog, attending church, traveling and trying new cuisines. She also likes gardening and playing piano.
