Dr. Christopher John Vesy

Dr. Vesy received his doctor of medicine degree in 1993 from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, graduating cum laude with Honors in Internal Medicine, Emergency Room, Medical Intensive Care Unit, General Medicine, Family Practice, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Pediatrics. He received a post-sophomore fellowship in Pathology where he performed molecular research in celiac disease. He was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the only national honor medical society. Dr. Vesy continued his medical education by performing his internship and residency in internal medicine at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. He then moved to Dallas and completed a Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center where he spent two years in the Division of Infectious Diseases performing research in sepsis. Dr. Vesy is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. He performs teaching rounds at Baylor University Medical Center, part of Baylor Scott & White Health, for both Internal Medicine housestaff and Gastroenterology fellows.
