Dr. David Daniels Vier

David Vier, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon who sees patients in Dallas, Rockwall, Forney and Greenville. He specializes in the treatment of foot and ankle injuries, lower extremity trauma, ankle arthritis, bunions, Achilles tendon injuries and complex foot and ankle deformities. His expertise includes total ankle replacement, minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery, bunion correction, Achilles tendon repair and advanced reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.


Dr. Vier is committed to helping patients relieve pain, restore mobility and return to the activities they enjoy. He utilizes the latest surgical and non-surgical treatment options to address a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, with a focus on personalized care and optimal outcomes.

As a fellowship-trained foot and ankle specialist, Dr. Vier has extensive experience treating both common and complex conditions affecting the foot and ankle. His clinical interests include lower extremity trauma, total ankle replacement, complex deformity reconstruction, minimally invasive surgery and sports-related foot and ankle injuries.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son exploring the White Rock Lake area. He also loves to play recreational basketball, hike and scuba dive.
