Deepika Gopal, MD

Dr. Deepika Gopal is a clinical cardiologist and Cardiac Imaging specialist with Baylor Scott and White Cardiology - The Heart Group Plano and is on the medical staff at The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano, Baylor Regional Medical Center in Plano. She completed her Cardiology Fellowship at the Barnes Hospital Washington University, St. Louis, MO. Her special interests include valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease, preventive cardiology, heart disease in women, advanced cardiac imaging with transesophageal echo, 3D TEE, coronary CT angiography with FFR CT and cardiac MRI, nuclear cardiology and stress echocardiography and CT calcium score. She is medical director of Cardiac MRI at The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano. She is actively involved in research trials and clinical research. She is the author of the book "Every Woman's Guide to her Heart"
