Drew Sanders, MD, MPH, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, with a subspecialty in orthopedic trauma. His professional interests include fractures of the pelvis and acetabulum, peri-articular fractures, nonunion and malunion fractures, musculoskeletal infection and limb salvage.
Throughout his career, Dr. Sanders has trained many orthopedic surgery residents, lectured domestically and internationally and authored more than 30 research articles and book chapters on orthopedic trauma. He was also selected for the prestigious Roy Sanders Orthopaedic Trauma Association Traveling Fellowship in 2024.
Dr. Sanders is a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association and a proud Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Outside of work, Dr. Sanders enjoys spending time with his wife and children, fitness and traveling.
Dr. Sanders has been named a Texas Super Doctor for 2025 by Texas Monthly.
D Magazine has named Baylor Scott & White Orthopedics the
"Face of Orthopedics" for 2026.
