Biografía
Dr. John Mason, Jr. is a board-certified general surgeon and Fellow of the American Board of Surgery specializing in bariatric surgery and foregut procedures such as hiatal hernia repairs and stomach surgery. He also performs gallbladder surgery, hernia repair, and colon and rectal procedures. A graduate of UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Dr. Mason completed his internship and residency at USAF Medical Center Keesler in Biloxi, Mississippi. He is a proud member of the Texas Surgical Society. Dr. Mason prioritizes clear communication with patients and is fluent in both English and Spanish. He is passionate about delivering quality surgical care and helping patients achieve better health through advanced surgical techniques. Outside of the work, Dr. Mason enjoys camping and traveling with his wife, gardening, and running a small cattle operation. He is also a master beekeeper, a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, and loves spending time with his three children and five grandchildren.
