Biografía
Dr. Jose Miguel Soto is a board-eligible neurosurgeon. His professional interests include brain and spinal tumors, functional neurosurgery, stereotactic neurosurgery, trigeminal neuralgia, peripheral nerve disorders and minimally invasive surgical techniques for degenerative spinal disorders. He is passionate about investigating factors influencing outcomes after neurosurgical procedures and utilizing advanced imaging techniques, such as diffusion tensor tractography, to optimize surgical planning and patient care. Throughout his career, Dr. Soto has authored or co-authored more than 25 peer-reviewed articles and editorial reviews. He is proud to have earned several awards for his research during residency training, as well as grant funding, and presented at national conferences. Dr. Soto is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the Texas Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Society for Neuro-Oncology.
