Kristen Richeson Carmichael, MD, FACOG

Dr. Carmichael is a board-certified OBGYN who has been practicing for more than 20 years. She focuses on creating a peaceful and supportive environment for every obstetric and gynecologic patient. She is most satisfied when patients feel at ease, educated and empowered to make good health decisions.


Her clinical interests include low and high risk pregnancy care, minimally invasive surgery including endometrial ablation, hysteroscopy and laparoscopy, treatment of menstrual problems, women’s wellness, contraceptive option counseling, infertility and hormone treatment for menopause. She has extensive training and experience in minimally invasive surgical procedures such as robotic-assisted laparoscopic hysterectomy.

When not working, she enjoys family time, traveling, reading and live theater. She is a long time member of Gateway Church.

Dr. Carmichael has received numerous awards including Best OB/GYN in Las Colinas and Mom Approved by DFW Child. She is currently accepting new patients.
