Liezet A Cepeda, MD

Dr. Cepeda grew up in the Rio Grande Valley located in South Texas. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Princeton University and her Medical Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago – College of Medicine. She later returned to South Texas to complete her Family Medicine residency and stayed on has faculty at University of Texas Rio Grand Valley to continue working closely with residents and medical students, all the while managing her own patient panel. 

She has a passion for providing medical care to Spanish- speaking populations and has a special interest in weight loss management. In her free time, Dr. Cepeda enjoys spending time with her partner and numerous pets while exploring all that the Austin/Round Rock area has to offer.
