Melissa jane nieland, md

Dr. Melissa Nieland is a board-certified physician specializing in family medicine. Her professional interests include pediatric care, musculoskeletal care, sports medicine and women’s health.

Dr. Nieland is passionate about assisting her patients of all ages in making lifestyle changes to bring better health and well-being to the whole person.  She believes it is important to have continuity in the patient-physician relationship through all stages of life.


Dr. Nieland is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Texas Academy of Family Physicians.

Outside of work, Dr. Nieland enjoys spending time with family, including her husband and four children, supporting her children’s sporting events and recitals around town and gardening. As a native of Belton, Texas, she is proud to put down roots in her community.
