Dr. Figel is board-certified in family medicine. His goal as a physician is to take care of the whole patient (body, mind and spirit) by emphasizing an active well-rounded lifestyle of proper nutrition, exercise, rest and social connection. His other professional interests include sports medicine, osteopathic manipulative medicine and managing chronic diseases such as diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and excess weight gain.
Outside of work, Dr. Figel likes to stay active by playing basketball, pickleball, running, cycling and weightlifting. He enjoys taking coffee breaks with a book or listening to a podcast on a walk.
