Dr Gamarnik is a good listener, takes accurate notes about my concerns and conditions - she gets to know me and remembers our prior conversations. She is good at answering questions. My one concern this visit was that despite being "high" last check up, she didn't order , or maybe results are delayed for cholesterol screening which o wouldn't think would be necessary to specifically mention / seems logical that a patient with high levels last visit would be tested again to monitor that critical data point.

Dr Gamarnik is hands down the most caring, professional, and engaged primary care doctor I've had in my entire lifetime. I read the BSW commitments to patients on the wall in the exam room and Dr Gamarnik is the true embodiment of all of them. I cannot say enough how phenomenal Dr. Gamarnik is! She is patient, listens and explains everything thoroughly and simply. It's always nerve racking when you have to see the doctor, but Dr. G has been great about setting me at ease and not rushing through examining. Her nurses are always so nice and gentle and actually engage. Dr. G always communicates quickly when you email about anything and makes sure that you get an appointment when you need it to. I've never felt pawned off or like my reason for a visit was too small for her attention. She was able to get my blood pressure under control and helped me to get some peace from my killer migraines. I've laughed and cried in her office and never left feeling stupid or embarrassed. When I do feel uncomfortable about an issue or location of an issue, she picks up on it without me having to say anything and does such a great job on talking me through so I'm more relaxed. I'll be the first to say that I've always hated going to any doctor, but that isn't the case with Dr. Gamarnik. I even followed her after her office moved from Uptown to Frisco because I couldn't go back to any other doctor after experiencing what a real doctor who cares is like.

The doctor is the most caring, patient, compassionate and helpful doctor I have had in many years. She even discovered ailments I had that I didn't think were serious. After she explained the dangers if I did not get immediate treatment, she then prescribed the treatment and medications I needed. My experience with Dr. Gamarnick has been wonderful. I find her to be caring, thorough, responsive, and a very intent listener to whatever I have to say. I don't feel rushed when I have an appointment with her, and she listens carefully when I respond. I also find her demeanor to be quite calming, in that she presents observations and advice in a practical, and NOT over-reactive way, along with a subtle sense of humor that I find quite charming.

I've had several doctors throughout my lifetime and Dr. Gamarnik is by far my favorite.
