Because of hard to nail down symptoms & blood work that doesn't necessarily reflect my symptoms/ pain level... This has been going on for 20+ years. At some point you have to figure out how to live some kind of life, even with the pain. I've learned to mask it for an hour or two, so I come off as much more \"okay\" than I really feel. I generally crash after. Takes a day or more to \"recover\" from stuffing the pain to look \"normal\" in public for those couple of hours. I have my own mindset to overcome, too. I'm very distrustful of medications due to bad experiences in the past.She seems patient with me, maybe a bit skeptical. I get it. We're still new to eachother, so hopefully we can build a trusting patient-doctor relationship over time. I just want to be heard, hopefully helped.
