Steven Paul Overn

Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Overn has been serving the primary care needs of patients in the community of McKinney since 1991. With many years of experience in private practice and as a Clinical Assistant Instructor of Family Medicine at Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine, he has dedicated himself to providing individualized treatment to each and every patient in a caring manner. Dr. Overn offers a broad range of primary care services to patients of all ages that include treating acute conditions, managing diabetes and hypertension, promoting women's health and monitoring preventive care plans. He earned his medical degree from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, TX, before completing an internship at Humana Hospital of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach, FL, and a residency in family medicine at Akron General Medical Center in Akron, OH. Dr. Overn is pleased to welcome new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
