Our mission is to promote, enhance and develop medical education by replicating realistic clinical experiences in a safe setting through best practices and innovation

The Baylor Scott & White Health Clinical Simulation program offers simulation education opportunities to all healthcare learner types in the Central Texas region.

We advance healthcare through simulation by fostering interprofessional collaboration, enhancing patient safety, and pioneering research in a supportive learning environment- ultimately benefiting patients and healthcare professionals alike.

Our program uses high and low fidelity manikins, task trainers, and standardized patients to provide learners a safe environment to practice, learn, innovate, and improve their skills. We support in-situ mock codes, task trainer-based skill building, communication training, and formative interprofessional team training as well as developing novel simulation experiences.
