The Baylor Scott & White Health Simulation Program supports undergraduate and graduate medical education, nursing and allied health professionals, making it a multidisciplinary simulation education program.

The program also provides mobile simulation programs, providing outreach to other Baylor Scott & White Health hospitals throughout Texas.

Our simulation programs in North Texas are based out of Baylor University Medical Center, part of Baylor Scott & White, in Dallas.

Our services are routinely used by medical students, residents, fellows, attending physicians and medical device companies who wish to improve their skills and test innovative new approaches in the field of surgical care.

Clinical simulation training in Central Texas

The Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Temple Clinical Simulation program, in conjunction with Baylor College of Medicine, provides education and training to medical students and health care professionals in Central Texas. We use high and low fidelity mannequins and patient actors to provide learners a risk free environment in which to practice and learn various procedures and methods.

Standardized Patient Program offers training in a controlled and realistic clinical atmosphere with non-judgmental feedback

Standardized patients (SP) are individuals who have been coached to consistently and accurately portray an actual medical condition or disease, including a patient's history, physical findings, personality and/or behavior.

Standardized patients are utilized in training activities for medical students, residents, nurses and allied health professionals.
