Rotations schedule
Rotations are on a monthly basis year-round at two training sites, Baylor Scott & White Health (hospital system and clinic) and Central Texas Veterans Affairs Health Care System (hospital and clinic).
The patient population at Baylor Scott & White Health includes adolescents. The two facilities offer sufficient volume and diversity in age and gender to provide broad experience with common and uncommon endocrine disorders. Together, rotations at the two sites also increases the probability that fellows will treat patients with rare endocrine diseases such as Cushing, acromegaly and carcinoid syndrome.
Fellows do not take in-house call. Fellows are required to take call during inpatient rotations on week days and two weekends out of four.
