We have structured our education program based on the concept of combining theoretical knowledge, practical knowledge and skills and direct involvement with medical decision making.

We also believe repetition is important in the learning process and have structured the training experience to allow the trainee within a year to repeat key rotations in order to reinforce practical knowledge and the medical decision-making ability.

Fellows are encouraged to attend scientific meetings sponsored by the College of American Pathologists, as well as the American Society of Hematology and/or any other pertinent society.

Fellows will spend all of their training time in Temple, TX.
