From welcoming guests to working behind the scenes, our volunteers bring comfort and support to patients and families at Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital. We have numerous roles across our locations, so you can find a place that allows you to use your talents to help others.
Opportunities vary by location and may require additional training, but some of our volunteer roles include:
- Greeting guests
- Assisting concierge staff
- Escorting guests to their destinations
- Delivering flowers and more
- Offering refreshments, reading materials or puzzle books in waiting rooms
- Assisting cardiac rehabilitation staff
- Supporting patients and families using your own experience and special training through our Caring Hearts program or LVAD support program
